Quarantainenet: Microsoft Active Protections Program

Security is an industry problem requiring collaboration. Quarantainenet is the first company in the Netherlands to partner with Microsoft under the Microsoft Active Protections Program (MAPP).

MAPP is a new program from the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) that provides vulnerability information to security software providers in advance of Microsoft's montly security update release. This enables Quarantainenet to better protect our mutual customers in networks protected by Qnet or Qmanage.

Application of information from the Microsoft Active Protections Program

If the information distributed through MAPP indicates possible improvements to Quarantainenet's Qdetect technology, these improvements are made rightaway. They are then released as soon as the relevant security bulletin is released by Microsoft.
